Move virtual disk from SAS to ethernet?

We have an old Poweredge FX2 connected to an old Powervault MD3420, through SAS cables. There are 7 virtual disks on the Powervault, connected to 4 different servers in the FX2. I have two issues:

One of the FX2 servers has failed, and I want to access the virtual disk connected to that server. I've tried mapping to another host (on the FX2), but the disk just appears as offline. I wonder if it's completely corrupt.

Ultimately, though, I need to retire that Poweredge. Is there another way to access the virtual disks without SAS? I can't even get the virtual disk to show up if I map it to a completely different server (one without SAS). Is there something I need to change in the MDSM to make it accessible through ethernet-only?

Thanks!

Hi @Zepfanman,

Ideally, if any of the servers are connected to the MD3420 should be able to be re-assign/re-map the array to the servers. I'm unsure what would be the reason the array that you are trying to re-map is showing offline. Is there any option in MDSM to bring the array online? Probably some screenshots could help us identify the issue.

MD3400 do not have any capability to connect to any server without a SAS cable. The only way of communicating with the array is through SAS cable.
