MD3620i Disk Firmware update N440
Dear all
I'm looking for the Disk Firmware Update File for HGST HUC 109060CSS600 N440.
Currently is C430 on the drives and they are shown as not compatible.
I checked all drive update files on the website down to A13 but no one contains an update for this drives.

Hello Simon,
What is the Dell part# on your drive? If the drive doesn’t have a dell part# on it then it will not work in your MD3620i. The Dell Part# should look like this DP/N:0G76RF. If you don’t see that on your drives, there is not a way to put the dell firmware on the drive to make it seen by your MD3620i

Thank you for your answer. They have a EMC part number. Is there no change to put the Dell firmware on it?
Maybe with reformat with 512B sectors?

Hello Simon,
You can’t flash the firmware on the drives to the MD firmware. The firmware type is put on the drives at the factory. You will need to get a drive from the support matrix that has the correct dell part#. Here is a link to the support matrix and all supported drives are listed on page 17-26. https://dell.to/2HlVGHi

Is it possible to flash a HDD with PN from support matrix with older firmware?
PN is 8WP8W firmware is A360 in matrix is A440.
