MD3220 SAS Attached to HP HBA 804398-B21

I had a look on the Compatibility Matrix ob both Systems,

The Storage Supports a DELL 12G SAS HBA, The HP DL380Gen10 supports the 12 G SAS HBA 804398-B21.

Is it supportet to run the MD on the HP HBA, will it work ?
