MD1420 with H830 and PE R730 OCE for raid 10

Question

Hello, I have an MD1420 hooked to my R730 server with the H830 raid card. It has 4 drives in raid 10 right now. I would like to add 2 more drives to this array. How can I do that? Is it possible to do it as an online expansion without rebooting?

I read you have to do it in the OMSA but I can't figure out where.

You can insert your new drives into any open slot on your MD1420. Once that is done then you can use this link to the user’s guide for OMSA & it explains how to expand your virtual disk. https://dell.to/2RDPLT2
