MD1400 support for seagate X16 or WD DC HC520

Hi i am looking to buy new HDDs for my MD1400 but i need to know if it support Seagate X16 (12TB) ST12000NM002G  or WD DC HC520 0F29532.  I call to dell support in my country but they are unable to tell me if it will work or not.

In a documents there is support for older version of hard drives but i find only refurbished which is useless for me.

Thanks for any help

Hi. Thank you for answer :). Well for me there is only non-dell hdd available. I try to put there some IBM hdd without support and it work without any problem.

if no one help me with that specific hdds i just give it a try to buy that unsupport hdd through my trader.

Hi, I don't know if those drives which you mentioned run without issue. Might be the community helpful. Because if no Dell label on them there will be an incompatibility issues due to firmware. However, I found some 12TB drives in our spare system.
