MD1200 drives disappeared after connecting to MD3200

I picked up a couple of 2TB DELL drives so I could use my MD3200, and it showed up perfectly. I previously had an MD1200 that I connected directly to my server and it was showing all of the JBOD drives perfectly, but once I connected the MD1200 to the MD3200 like the cabling manual states, I'm no longer able to see any of the drives in the MD1200 even though they're there and the MD1200 is a solid blue LED.

What could be the cause of this, and is there anything I can do to get the MD1200 to show the drives like they should be?

The lack of drives is displayed in both the PowerVault Modular Disk Storage Manager and in the host OS.
