Is connecting two servers to a JBOD enclosure supported?
From what I saw so far at least the MD1420 does not support multiple hosts connecting to it, so I was wondering whether the MD2xxx series enclosures support such a feature (similar to Lenovo D1224 that supports multiple host attachments)

Unfortunatly the MD24xx series doesn't support it, as it is a unified chassis and can't be put into split mode. As seen on page 5 here, an enclosure can only be attached to a single server.

Thanks for the detailed reply. I was wondering whether there is any kind of JBOD (or array that can work in "JBOD MODE") in Dell's portfolio that supports split mode.
The customer I'm talking about require a JBOD for setting up a 2-node ORACLE RAC cluster (servers connect by a SAS HBA, ofc)
