How to add SSD on ME4024 to existing disk group
Hello everyone.
I have a ME4024 storage, on which I have to expand the existing disk group with 6 new SSDs. They are all SSDs of the same manufacturer and of the same capacity, but once physically installed they are not recognized by the storage, they remain with the yellow LED on and I don't know how to put them online to add them to the existing diskgroup (configured as ADAPT).
Can anyone help me please? Thank you very much!

Hi @Davros74,
What is the DPN# of the new SSDs that you're using on your ME4?
For ME4, it will need Dell certified drives for the storage in order for it to be compatible.

Hi Joey,
Thanks for your reply. I'm using Kioxya SSD drivers, the same drives already installed on the storage. They have a capacity of 960 GB. The baskets are manufactured by Workdone and are identical to the originals produced by Dell.

Hi @Davros74,
If it's not a Dell drive, unfortunately it will not work in ME4 although it is the same model and make of the drives.
