and also when I start the ITDT the program does not give me the option to choose the format for the test, whether it is compressed or not. Go straight to this item

Hello,
You'd want to insert the tape into the enclosure, then begin the test. You'll also want to make sure that your backup software services are disabled during this window. I don't believe you should need to do anything more than that.

Has the backup software and it's associated services also been stopped? If so, then that's unexpected.

Are you running into any other issues with the tape units, or is it just the inability to execute the test?

All the units pass in all other tests DUMP, thermal etc..., but in this specific Full Write, abort. Result Mount_Tape - No Test Tape Insert..

Would you mind collecting the logs described in this article and sharing them with me? This should help identify the problem.

You can email them to me. I'll provide you my address in a direct message, but we'll want to continue our conversation here.

You can pull the logs through CLI. You will need to scroll down in the article I provided to see it. It uses a telnet connection.
ITDT can also do this, per the link below.
