EMC ME 4024
We recently changed our DNS servers and I need to update the DNS on the controller cards.
Can I do this without the card rebooting i.e. on the fly? Like changing it manually on a PC where it take effect immediately without a reboot or does it require me to stop all data transactions on the ME 4024 before doing it?
Basically I would like to "just enter it" and it just work without shutting down all the VM's or is it more complicated than that?
I won't be changing anything else except the DNS1 and DNS2 names.
Thank in advance for any help.

Hi,
There is no provided documentation contain specific information about changing DNS settings for a ME4024 controller whether a reboot is required after such changes. However, in general, when you modify network configurations like DNS settings on storage controllers (MD), controller often necessitates a reboot for the new settings to take effect. ME is a similar device to MD.
