Disabling Telnet on PowerVault 124T (PV124T)
I have an old PV124T that is still in use. My companies security is saying I need to disable telnet on the device. I see no where to disable this in the web interface. When I try to telnet to it I get the attached screen. No matter the user name or password I use I get login disabled. I would have thought the admin account (that I use to administer the web interface) would work, but it does not. I have created other administrators and they do not work either. Does anyone have any advice on how to get into this terminal and turn it off completely to satisfy my companies security requirements?

Speedtre,
It will depend on what version you are at on the PV124T, as the ability to toggle the Telnet wasn't added till version A19. So if you are on an older revision, you may want to update to A19 then to current (A24).
Let me know if this helps.

Hi,
It seems to be, as A24 is v91 according to the firmware page Chris commented.
After v90; the GUI should contain an option of Remote Service in the Configuration menu. Telnet access should be able to be disabled in that menu.

@DELL-Joey C yea, it's weird. This is my web console under configuration and this is after downloading the latest firmware and uploading just to be sure...
