Destination Driver and Phyiscal Disk Unrecoverable Media Error
Hi all,
I'm seeing two enclosure slots (slot 1 and 5) randomly reporting these errors. The priority is "Information", but does this indicate the drives need to be changed?

I couldn't find the area with "Failure Predicted". We're using PowerVault Modular Disk Storage Manager v10.86.
I've failed the disk so the hot-spare takes over and will replace it.
There is another disk with these errors:
RAID controller module status returned for requested operation
Anything to be concerned about?

Hello I-AM-PAT,
With Unrecoverable Media Errors I would recommend replacing it.
Check in OMSA, drill down to the physical disk details. What does it show for Failure Predicted? Yes or No
If it has not already gone pred fail, it would if it gets many Unrecoverable Media Error.

Hello I-AM-PAT,
In most cases when you are getting , RAID controller module status returned for requested operation, you will need to Restart SMagent and SMMonitor services on the host and management stations. The error is happening as there are symbol commands that are being sent to your MD3200i that are not coming from MDSM. By restarting SMagent and SMMonitor fixes this issue in most cases.
