Dell NAS NX3210 stops browsing as a file server on the network
I have Dell NAS NX3210 with Operating system windows server 2012 R2 installed on. This NAS is used in my network as a file server. after some time (normally in a day or two) it stops browsing on the network for the end users and at the same time i can ping and get this machine on remote. i have been gone through the logs and dint find any thing there. this NAS has three VDs (VD 0 = OS , VD1 (6 hard drives 1TB each and RAID 5), VD2 (6 hard drives 8TB each and RAID 5 implemented).
when i gave a reboot command this will stuck on Restarting page (after shutting down all services) and can not restart the machine. after that a hard reboot will work. With this hard reboot it will keep working for few hours or some time few days but again goes to same mode.
Kindly help me out. This is a production machine for complete site.
Thanks in advance!

Hello Asim Badar,
Looking at the information that you provided all are out of date. What you will need to do is to update them all & the see if the error is still happening. Here is the link to the driver page. https://dell.to/2QOwZs5

Thank you for the help, i have started updating this device. during log review i have found this information. Might be it is related to my issue:

Hello Asim Badar,
It is normal to see these errors when you are updating firmware. Once all updates are completed, that is when you will want to check to see if the errors are still happening.

My NAS performance is dead slow. I have just upgraded the Firmware of Network card and driver of NIC. Resources of the machine are mostly available. But response is very poor. i have restarted this machine two times already. On observation which is i guess i must share with you. This is Dell NAS NX3210 which supports maximum of 48Tb. where as i have more than that (6X1Tb + 6 X8Tb = 54TB RAW space). could this be a reason of this sluggish and hang issues? and more to it PERC Controller battery issue (The controller write policy has been changed to Write Through.: Battery 0 Controller 0). i also have its memory.dump file if you need that i can share that as well and DSET reports as well.

Hello Asim Badar,
Is your controller battery showing as failed? Your cache should be set to write back. In most cases that I have seen, when it is set to write through it is due to a failed battery.
