DELL ML3 Tape Cartridges LTO 6
Hi Colleagues,
Good day! Currently we have DELL ML3 Tape Library with HH6 Tape Drives. We are inquiring with the Tape Cartridges vendor, and they don't have available Dell Ultrium LTO 6. May I ask if other or any Brand of LTO 6 Tape Cartridges can be use in our current Tape Library/Drive?

Hello,
Yes, you can use LTO-6 tape cartridges from other brands (such as HP, IBM, Fujifilm, Sony, etc.) in your Dell ML3 Tape Library, as long as they conform to the LTO-6 specification. Dell does not restrict the use of third-party media, and the ML3 library is designed to support standard LTO media formats

In general it support LTO-6, LTO-5, LTO-4 cartridges
