Dell ME Storage - SSD differences

I'm trying to understand the differences in terms of R/W IOps and  life span in TB for the following SSD options available in ME storage. I haven't been able to find the tech specs

GF82IO4:   1.92TB SSD SAS ISE Read Intensive 12Gbps 512 2.5in Hot-plug AG Drive
GL62XHQ:   1.6TB SSD SAS ISE Mix Use 12Gbps 512 2.5in Hot-plug AG Drive, 3 DWPD,

Thanks in advance for your help,

Andy

Hello artiman73,

I tried to drill down on these Sales SKU:  400-AXPB and 400-AZPH but it did not give me a useable 5 digit part number.

Referencing the Dell PowerVault ME5 Series Storage System Support Matrix

http://dell.to/3PapBEx

I was able to find  a 1.9T and 1.6T:

Part #:D4VFW

Part Desc.:SSDR,1.9T,2E,IS12,2.5,S-LBP,EC

SSD, 1.92TB, 2.5, 512e, SAS, 12Gbps,ISE, STX, LangeBP Mainstream SAS, EC

Part #:GD3N0

Part Desc.:SSDR,1.6T,2E,IS12,2.5,X,P63,EC

SSD, 1.6TB, 2.5, 512e, SAS, 12Gbps,ISE,Kioxia, PM6, EC

If neither of those are what you are looking for I would recommend contacting Sales and they could quote you on compatible drives.

Hi @artiman73,

Unfortunately, there is no specific document for each Dell drive. But you can refer some information on what are the drive's specifications:

https://dell.to/3VUzRCY

https://dell.to/3VZg8Cd.

If you need more details, I may suggest contacting sales support to gather more information of your drive choices.

Another opinion would be, finding out specifically what is the model of the drive in query. I tried finding out the model you provided, but it did not turn up anything within Dell's page, GF82IO4 nor GF82IO4. You may try referring to this page: https://dell.to/3VEe5DP for ME4 supported drives. And it would provide manufacturer's model. Based on that, you might be able to obtain information from the manufacturer's page.

Joey, I really appreciate your reply. I made a mistake and the right storage model is a ME5, the SKU numbers of the drives that I'm looking the tech specs are 400-AXPB and 400-AZPH.

Taking a look of the ME5 supported hard drives I can't find numbers because the table doesn't include the SKU number only the part Number, so I mapped based on the capacity and I think I got the model options.

If  you can provide any extra information it would be helpful
