Changing discs on MD3400

Hello! Have MD 3400 configured for 2 disc groups with RAID 5

I want to increase storage capacity of one group via changing HDD's to 8TB model. I've not found any information about such procedure, so what is correct way to do it without loosing any data on the storage?

Have idea about something like this:

1. Change hot spare disc to greater capacity

2. Set one of active discs to fail mode and clone it to hot spare.

3. install new bigger disc instead of disc from previous stage and clone data from hot spare

4. repeat 2 and 3 for all other discs.

Is it correct way or there is another procedure for it?
