Adding ME424 Expansion to Production ME4024

I do not see anything that says that you have to shutdown in order to add expansion. So it should work with it up. Let us know if you have any additional questions.

Thank you very much for the guidance.  I just wanted to make sure as I did find a note in the deployment guide under connecting expansion enclosures:

NOTE: To add expansion enclosures to an existing storage system, power down the controller enclosure before connecting the expansion enclosures.

I am hoping that it's an old note that is no longer applicable.

Hello daviscruz. almost 3 years later and the NOTE still is present in the manual. Did you manage to install de expansion without any problems?
