Different PowerStore models (like 500, 1000, 3000, etc) have been designed to cover the wide spectrum of performance requirements that PowerStore caters to. This is the reason why smaller models have lower amount of CPU cores and memory in the appliance - which drives the lower cost for our customers.
Please work with your sales teams to get access to the performance data. This data is dependent on the application workload that is running on the appliance.
Having the expansion enclosure connected through SAS meets the performance requirements for a vast majority of our customers. Please work with your Sales teams to get an awareness of our roadmap plans in this area.
