As we know there are FIP and non-FIPS disk for powerstore.
I am using powerstore 9200. How can find out if I am using fips or non-fips disk on my device ?

I dont work with the powerstore systems, so I dont know if there is an easier way to do this, but FIPS drives usually have a line of characters on the label that starts with PSID an then has about 30 characters after that.

Hello virtualcdc,
There is not a command in ssh to find out of your drives are non-fips drives or fip drives.

@DELL-Sam L
1- Is that possible to use mix of fips and non-fips disks on an appliance ?
2- Is that possible to change fips drives to non-fips on powerstore by CLI, If that is not possible to use both of type fips and non-fips on one appliance ?

Hello virtualcdc,
You can have a mix of non-fips dives and fips drives in the same appliance. As an example, if you want to switch from non-FIPS drives to FIPS drives, you must replace the non-FIPs drives in slots 23 and 24 before adding the new drives to slots 21 and 22.
