Does new disk in resilence set use previous raid set or it will chnage in powerstore 4 ?

As I know we don't have specific role to define type of raid set in powerstore due initialization  .

Imagine I have 12 disks on my device and want to use dual protection so 8+2 is suitable . and initialization will do completely with 8+2.

I will add more disks later (about 20 disks) .

1- Does it mean  will use 8+2 for all disk or new disks using difference set such as 16+2 ?

2- Is there any difference about above question on powerstoreOS3 and powerstoreOS4 ?
