Trouble installing Powerpath 5.0.0 on AIX 5.3

I am trying to install Powerpath 5.0.0 on AIX 5.3 and am having no luck. I keep getting Execute permission denied even though the x right is given. I have tried on mulitple other machines with the same result. I have redownloaded the file multiple times and unzipped it locally to my machine and ftp'd it up to server. As well as ftp'd it up to server then unzipped it. I still cannot manage to get it to work. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
