psudo name solaris 10

hi

if i didnt set persistent binding

nor excute powermt save

will psudo name change if i reboot or make cabling change in one of the san switch

i have solaris 10 , Emulex HBA 2.60h 2010.10.22.16.55 driver and connected to vmax

No & No to both .. But my answeres are not based on Solaris OS though.. What type zoning do you use(based on the mentined cable change)?

anyway the issue were in veritas LVM 5.0 , changing hba ( im my case reposition hba in domain) may courrpt private region in PV in Disk group which may end with data loss and its known bug for veritas 5.0 so all plz becarefull when dealing with this version
