Powerpath and Solaris
Hi,
My server is seeing 2 disk arrays (mirrorview), now I want to switch the second array (promote),
it is ok, I can see the disks but the links (powerpath) are dead, how can I do to bring them up.
With AIX we execute "powermt remove", then "rmdev -Rdl fsc#", then "rmdev -dl powerpath0"
and "cfgmgr", in fact I want to do the same in solaris (I am not used to it).
Regards
Consty

Hello Consty,
If you want to just restore the links as they are, a powermt restore will try to restore the links.to
If you want to remove dead paths a powermt check will probe the links, and if they cannot be restored, ask you if you would like them deleted.
The Host Connectivity Guide available on powerlink at:

Chapter 11, Migration Considerations , page 237 details information which should help.
Hope this helps,
