location of the license key file for powerpath
Does anyone know on UN*X (Linux, Solaris, AIX and & HPUX) where the licensekey file is kept for powerpath? I did a strings on powermt.custom but did not see the license key in it. I need to write a script that will run against 1000+ machines to determine if the key file is there or not. We have had a few boxes randomly loose their keys and I think the file is being removed.
thanks
thanks

However, the key is actually located in the file /etc/emcp_registration

Thanks! That was perfect. Now I can check to see if the file exists.

Is this command applicable to Sun , Windows and Linux also. I have to do a similar task which involves different OS
AIX is good with powermt check_registration. If other OS have a different way then kindly share

Hi. The powermt check_registration command can be used on all PowerPath-supported OSs except for VMware. That command is slightly different. It is rpowermt check_registration.
