Is Powerpath 5.3.0 supported on Windows 2008 R2 ?
I've been looking at the PP 5.3.0 release notes, and cannot find anything about Windows 2008 R2 being supported in there.
Reason i'm asking is i've been tasked with installing Powerpath on a freshly installed Windows 2008 R2 server, and i've ran into a slightly strange issue. (and its a while since i did a powerpath install last time
)
Basicly the install goes through fine without any problems, but in PowerPath Administrator/Console, under adapters, it doesnt list/see the QLogic adapter installed in the server.
I've updated the Qlogic driver to the latest 9.1.8.17, which is listed in the support matrix, and the bios seems to be at the supported 2.02 lvl aswell, so i'm abit baffled as to why the HBA doesnt show up in PowerPath.
Anyone got any ideas ?
The Navisphere Host Agent is able to register the HBA's fine on the Clariion however, and i can see the HBA's logged in there, so everything seems fine, except for the fact that i cant see the HBA's in Powerpath, and powermt display dev=all just return: device(s) not found.

Told you it was too long since i did this last time, and just after i had posted this i though, oh well, lets try to give it some disk just to test if it works, and voila, as you just said, the adapters "magically" popped up in powerpath.
