How can I make it right on powerpath
Dear sir:
I got a strange thing. I mapped 4 additioninal LUN to two servers and each server has two LUNs.
But, I want to see it is normal like:
I see this on another server which is unnormal.
Although, the LUNs are different but the size and principle is the same.
The addition more log is at accessory.
How can I make it right ?
Thanks .

we got an answer , How can I do ?
Hello,
From the emcgrabs outputs attached to the Service Request, this appears to be the current GateKeeper allocation on both servers:
LGDAME24
/dev/rdsk/c4t0d0 GK EMC SYMMETRIX 5773 5700022000 2880
/dev/rdsk/c8t0d0 GK EMC SYMMETRIX 5773 5700022000 2880
/dev/rdsk/c8t0d1 GK EMC SYMMETRIX 5773 57001EF000 2880
/dev/rdsk/c8t0d2 GK EMC SYMMETRIX 5773 57001F0000 2880
LGDCBCN1
/dev/rdsk/c4t0d0 GK EMC SYMMETRIX 5773 5700022000 2880
/dev/rdsk/c4t0d1 GK EMC SYMMETRIX 5773 5700247000 2880
/dev/rdsk/c4t0d2 GK EMC SYMMETRIX 5773 5700248000 2880
/dev/rdsk/c6t0d0 GK EMC SYMMETRIX 5773 5700022000 2880
/dev/rdsk/c6t0d1 GK EMC SYMMETRIX 5773 5700207000 2880
/dev/rdsk/c6t0d2 GK EMC SYMMETRIX 5773 5700208000 2880
Clearly device 022 is visible to both hosts and should not be. Can you confirm this is the only problem or is there another issue that I'm not aware with?
Also, please confirm the following:
Which server should have visibility to GateKeeper device 0022?
Which server should NOT have visibility to GateKeeper device 0022?
Which is the original server?
Which is the 'cloned' server?
What method was used to clone the servers?
Is this causing an actual impact right now? e.g unable to run symcli commands on one or both of the servers?
Have you tried to unmask the GK device from the server where it should not be visible?
Regards,
dynamox

This question was answered on Chinese forum.
The concern was that "powermt display" is showing 6 entries on one host, and 4 entries on the other.
The number of entries in this output is the number of "controllers" which usually is the number of initiators. However on HP-UX when the same initiator sees LUNs with different vbus IDs, there will be different controllers (for example in the "normal" output, c4 and c5) for the same HBA.
This is not an issue but simply reflecting the different vbus IDs used in mapping the LUNs.
