health status indicator for N2024
Hello
I have an issue with a stack member
After a power outage the health status indicator light is red and device is not able to join the stack.
We tried reboot the device/ power on and off but the red light persist.
Show switch command, show the member as unassigned.
is there a way to access the second device from the primary member or only via console cable ?
and what actions we can do after ?

Hello,
"is there a way to access the second device from the primary member or only via console cable ?

There is no way to access a member switch directly from the management (master/primary) switch.
To troubleshoot, remove the affected switch from the stack group and connect to it via the serial console to review the console output.
If you’re able to access the CLI mode, we can proceed with recovering the switch.

Hi,
I've the same issue.
Switch ON the N2024
when the status led is red
So to solve the matter, reset the switch, insert an unbent paper clip or
similar tool into the pinhole for four seconds.
the switch boot and "normally" it'll be ok, for me it was OK

Hi,
after a time, led alarm come back red,
at the next boot, N2024 doesn't boot.
the matter is with the memory flash if your firmware is under 6.6.xx
too late for me to update the N2024

Giga38,
So are you not able to boot after the paperclip manual reset now? What it sounds like is that the flash memory may be wiped or inaccessible, which would require manual recovery via TFTP, you can find details about it here.
Let me know how it goes and if this helps.

@DELL-Chris H
Hi Chris,
So after boot, I don't have the N2024 access console, no boot from TFTP
the matter is with the flash memory.
thanks
