can i install powerpath in a non-EMC environment

i find no compatibility info for storage from other vendor.

if i have some linux hosts, and one storage virtualization platform, say HDS USP or Falconstor NSS, does EMC support install powerpath in the linux hosts?

Hello.  Falconstor is not supported by PowerPath.  There is a PowerPath support table on E-Lab Navigator.  It is a subset of the full EMC Support Matrix.  There is a table within that covers third-party arrays.

https://elabnavigator.emc.com/emcpubs/elab/esm/pdf/EMC_PowerPath_Migration_Enabler.pdf

Thanks, Brion
