AIX 5.3 PP 4.5 LUN not showing all paths
We have two AIX 5.3 servers running Powerpath 4.5 connect to two separate Clariion CX3-40's. The hosts are connected to the array via two separate hba's and fabrics. We are migrating to a new SAN and found that these hosts were not zoned for all SP ports. Each of the eight devices only has access to A0 and B0. I added the additional zoning in the SAN. I updated the Arrays to register and login to the Array's and Storage groups. On the hosts I ran emc_cfgmgr, powermt restore, powermt check, powermt config, and powermt save. Great I now have four paths per device. The problem is this worked on seven out of eight devices. Any Ideas what I can do?

Hello,
If all other devices have all paths, that would indicate to me connectivity and zoning is OK. I would be a little suspicious of the host ODM defs though.
Checking can you see the paths via INQ is a good idea, and I would look and see if all hdisk devices are Available in an ls dev -CC disk.
Also, if you can, an ODM cleanup would ensure the issue is not on the ODM definitions side. Knowledgebase article emc93300 lists the steps required for an ODM cleanup.
