Few query on EMC SRDF PMAX4 and powermax 2000 micro code 5978

1) what was difference between these two array

2) is symcli 10.0, 10.1 and 10.2 support these two array

3) ia there any change in command between 10.0 and 10.2

4) what will be the PMAX4? Whixh mocrocode version they use and array model

The PMAX4 refers to the Powermax 8500. Here is a link to the info hub for Powermax 8500 and the powermax 2000 https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000189115/powermax-info-hub-product-documentation-videos
The Powermax 8500 supports symcli 10.0,10.1, and 10.2 but the powermax 2000 doesn’t.
There are some changes between version, it is best to review the release notes to see the changes that were done between version. You can find the release notes on the info hub link that is listed above.
PMAX4 = Powermax 8500. The Micro code version depends on when the system was first purchased. You can review the info hub link to see all versions.
