Stability problem with MDM, how do I get it back up again?

Hi

This installation of scaleio has been running for 4 weeks now but crashed today.

3 virtual 2012 R2 for mdm and tb.

3 physical 2012 R2 for sds.

From exp.0 log.

09/07 11:36:00.340000 Unhandled exception caught. Exception code c0000094.

09/07 11:36:00.340000 Panic in file ..\..\src\mos\usr\nt\mos_debug.c, line 86, function mosDbg_ExceptionFilter, PID 212.Panic Expression 0.

Primary mdm is stopped but secondary mdm the service is running but says the same in the log.

Cannot log in to mdm though.

I had two other installtions, thay crashed after a week, thought they were unstable because of unreliable hardware but the one that crashed today were virtual mdm only.

Don't have the logs from the other installations but they went down similar.

MDM-service stopping and starting and then just stop.

You can't log into the MDM, meaning the scli --login command on the currently running MDM does not work?
Where are you running the CLI session?

Can you connect from the GUI to the currently running MDM? what is the cluster status?

If the MDM did a switch-over that does not mean it's not functional...

Can you please connect to the MDM machine and send us the logs + repository + showevents output?
\emc\scaleio\mdm\diag -> run ./get_info --help to see options and run it with flag to collect also the repository

\emc\scaleio\mdm\bin -> run ./showevents script

Hi

Sorry for the late answer.

I cannot connect to any mdm. Not cli or gui.

Tried to collect the info, a lot of errors due to no connection.

Did not work with collect repository, ran get_info without.

Don't know how to upload, only get "The content type of this attachment is not allowed".

sounds like something bad happened to your system -> network/communication problems?

Anyhow we cannot investigate without the logs from get_info. Did you try to use the Advanced editor and attach the zip file through there?

I did try advanced but it only says "The content type of this attachment is not allowed".

Any thing to do with what is on the top of this site?

Is there any other way I can upload the data to you?
