network card MTU jumbo size
Hello experts
In scaleio fine tuning guide,it said MTU size must set to 9000, but supported MTU jumbo size is 8192 on our network switch,is it ok if setting mtu to 8192 in scaleio node (linux)?
Thanks in advance.

Cisco sees Jumbo frames as 9216, Arista as 9214, and we usually list it as 9,000, which means includes a packet header. Ask your network team, is there a reason they’re using something non-standard? The smaller the MTU, the higher overhead on protocol operations. (in general)
