How to increase number of data copies
Hi all,
Excuse my ignorance if this is somehow obvious but I couldn't find anything about it in the documentation.
Afaik (of course I might be wrong) ScaleIO stores 2 copies of every data block across the pool i.e. 2 copies in total (let's call it one "original" and 1 "mirror" copy).
Would it be possible to store 3 copies in total (let's call that one "original" and 2 "mirror" copies) or even more? If so, how? Couldn't find any pertinent parameters for the command line yet.
Thanks a lot and best regards,
Frank

Currently ScaleIO only does 2 copies of data.
BUT, we can have more copies, including long distance copies & data rollback capabilities, by adding RecoverPoint!
