How to connect to ScaleIO form not members of Vsphere
I have ScaleIO installed under Vsphere. Members of same Vcenter may see ScaleIO disks. Is it possible to provide some disks to another servers, not connected to the same Vcenter, end even not ESXi servers (like pure Windows or Linux servers)?
Thanks

If i understand correctly, you are not planning on adding other ESXi SDSs, what you are looking for, if possible, is 1) adding ESXi SDCs on hosts that are not part of the same/original ScaleIO configuration. Furthermore, these (potentially new ESXi SDCs) hosts are not in the same VCenter (other?).
Additionally, you also are looking for, if possible, to 2) add Linux/Windows as SDCs to this same ScaleIO configuration.
Is that correct?
If so, 1) I believe this is possible as long as there is network communication between MDM Cluster and new/future SDC host. You might have to manually install (https://support.emc.com/docu60120_ScaleIO-Installation-Guide-1.32.1.pdf?language=en_US page 131) the SDC component in the ESXi host. It is always recommended to use the ScaleIO Plugin, but there might be the chance where it only shows the ESXi hosts associated to the VCenter only.
For your 2) Linux/Windows hosts, yes, you can also install the SDC component alone (preferably also install LIA component). Please, refer to the same guide page 115 for manual installation on physical servers.
Hope this helps!

Th ESXi devices to be used for SDS devices can be consumed only by the SDS installed on the SVMs.
You can extend your VMware SIO system to have additional SDSs (with SDS devices) and/or SDC on externally Physical servers (Linux / Windows).

Sorry, not clear for me. Can you please provide the link to manual, that explain how to:
1) Connect another ESXi server, not member of existing Vcenter, as client to existing ScaleIO storage; what exactly I have to install, configure etc.
2) Connect additional physical Linux/Windows server s client to existing ScaleIO storage; what exactly I have to install, configure etc.
Thanks
