Poweredge R610 HDD

My poweredge r610 cannot detect my 500gb laptop thin hdd in the SAS 1 slot which I need to add windows to. Please help with this issue

Hi,

 

Unfortunately, the server does not support laptop or desktop drives. The server will only support enterprise drives. Some users may make it work, but we not able to advice on that. It's trial and error, more over the server will give errors and issues in a long run.
