PE T340 - RAID 10 - Virtual Disk

I don't usually get stumped this bad, but...

I am repurposing a T340 that previously had NOT been setup as RAID. I did a retire/repurpose wipe through the Lifecycle Controller and then configured the server as RAID 10. It has four (4) Crucial by Micron 2.5-inch SSD drives. The RAID configuration goes fine and I end up with a virtual disk just over 1.5TB as expected. When I try to install Windows 2019 from a USB/ISO it does not recognize the virtual (or any other) drive. So there's nowhere to install the OS.

Everything I have read says I need to put drivers for the disk on my OS installation media, but I have been unable to find the right driver that will cause the OS to 'see' the virtual disk. BIOS, iDRAC, Drivers, etc are all up-to-date. Any help greatly appreciated.

Hello, first please make sure the server's OS driver pack is up to date. Installing the OS driver pack will update the OS catalog in the LCC.

Download the Dell OS Driver Pack Downloaded from Support Site. (https://dell.to/3yFgVzH)
1. Access to the Support Site, enter the service tag of your system or click Browse all products and select your product.
2. Click DRIVERS and DOWNLOADS tab type "Dell OS Driver Pack." In the keyword box and download then Upload to the Dell OS Driver Pack iDRAC's update and rollback section.

If OS pack driver does not help, also you can search your PERC card driver for W2K12R2 and try it due to there is no separate W2K19 driver. (I remember W2K12R2 driver works once for W2K16 therefore it doesn't hurt take a shot for W2K19)

But I have to say non-certified SSD's might cause some issues even though I know some users could use such disks.

Hope that helps!
