Unable to install Windows Server 2022 on Dell PowerEdge T160

I am trying to install Windows Server 2022 on Dell PowerEdge T160, however it won't let me install it. It says "A media driver your computer needs is missing..." I tried to download the PERC drivers from Dell website using the Service Tag but none of them work. Could you please urgently assist, which driver must I download in order to continue?

Hello could you follow the steps and let us know where you are stuck?

Microsoft Windows Server 2022 for Dell PowerEdge Servers Installation Guide

Step 8 "Configure RAID First — Click to configure a RAID connected to the server" this is where you lose data, so make sure you back up first.

With which controller is your T160 equipped with?  If a RAID is configured be sure that the rebuild is finisiched or "fast init" was choosen.

From where do you have downloaded the Windows Media?  Download it again and check the checksumm. You can use powerswhell for that job.

If a Windows media is garbled the windows installer will ALWAYS stops working where you have to selet the install target device.

Joerg
