Two NVMe drives are directly connected to the R760 server. How can I configure two NVMe drives as a hardware RAID mirror?
The current configuration of the R760 server is as follows:
1. Chassis: 2.5-inch chassis with 8 universal drive slots (SAS/SATA/NVME), PERC 11 Front, 2 CPUs (404-BBFB)
2. SSD: 2 x 800GB SSD SAS (345-BEPV)
3. NVMe: 2 x 1.92TB (345-BJNX)
3. PERC: PERC H755 SAS Front (405-AAZB)
Currently, the two SSDs are configured as RAID 1 in this configuration.
The two NVMe drives are only directly connected.
I want to configure RAID 1 by connecting two NVMe drives to a hardware RAID controller. I'd like to know how to configure two NVMe drives in RAID 1 by replacing the backplane and PERC (including the associated cables).
Can't I configure a mirrored configuration for two NVMe drives simply by replacing the backplane and PERC?
Do I need to replace the chassis?
Please tell me how to configure a mirrored configuration for two NVMe drives using a hardware RAID controller. (The two SSDs can be removed.)

You need at least a H755N PERC. You can guess what the "N" stands for.
