Replacing Raid 1 ssd on r630

Hello i have plan to change one of two ssd in Raid 1 because performance degradation. For SAS it just need to put out the old disk and put in a new disk. It can be same for ssd?

yes, it's the same, 
You remove the degrader disk while ensuring that the other disk of the mm raid is working. after the replacement, you will see the evolution of the reconstruction of the data

Hi,

 

Yes, it's relatively removing the failed SSD and replacing it with a new SSD. 

 

But here are some tips. If your drive is not in a failed state, only degraded/predictive failure, you will need to offline the disk before replacing it. This is to stop IO from writing to the disk and to avoid punctured RAID parity. Also, it is advisable to do data backup before any replacement. It is also recommended to use the same specification drive to avoid any complication.
