Recreating a RAID 1 array

We have a PowerEdge 1650 which had some issues while I was away on vacation the last couple weeks.  Another tech here noticed the flashing orange light and discovered that disk 0:0 was in a degraded state.  He evidentally deactivated and then recovered it as it is now ok.  But our setup before was this:

Virtual Disk1 - 0:0 and 0:1 4GB

Virtual Disk2 - 0:0 and 0:1 12GB

I came in today - noticed in Array Manager that both of the virtual disks were degraded (no longer being mirrored).  I initialized Disk 0:0 then right clicked on VD1 and reconfigured it for the proper array size.  Now it is fine.

Then I right click on VD2 and reconfigure is greyed out?

Try to click "unMirror" and I get an error message?

How do I get this drive to re-mirror?
