reconfiguring raid 1 to raid 5
test server, not production, no data on it, server 2019 standard PE R830, currently raid 1, i want to add 2 drives, is as easy as using server administrator and reconfig from raid 1 to raid 5 ??

It is easy, but you wouldn't need to use OpenManage Server Administrator to do it. You can find the steps and details here.

If the drives are hotswappable then you wouldn't need to power down to install them, you could just install them and then reboot to the BIOS, or if you don't want to reboot at all you can do the same in OpenManage. Now on a quick side note, I would suggest that you update the server to current, specifically the BIOS, iDrac, and raid controller.
Now if the drives are not hotswappable and are cabled, then you would need to power down, install the drives, then boot to the BIOS.

@DELL-Chris H so obviously i would power down, insert my 2 new drives and go to bios and follow steps ?
