RAID 10 Configuration on Dell PowerEdge r750xs - Rack server
Hi community,
My company has just purchased Dell PowerEdge r750xs. It has four 480 GB disks. We would like to configure RAID 10; we watched the video shared by Dell on How to Configure RAID with Device Settings (LifeCycle Controller) for PowerEdge, but at the select Raid Level option, we see only RAID0, RAID1 and RAID5.
We are new to server configuration, so we would like detailed instructions how to configure RAID10.
Looking forward
Regards

To set up RAID 10 on your Dell PowerEdge R750xs:
Access BIOS: Restart your server and press F2 to enter System Setup or F10 for the LifeCycle Controller.
Select RAID Controller: Go to Device Settings and choose your RAID controller (e.g., PERC H755).
Create a Virtual Disk: Select Configuration Management and then Create Virtual Disk.
Choose RAID 10: If RAID 10 isn't an option, make sure:
All four disks are selected.
The disks are the same type and size.
The RAID controller firmware is up to date.
Configure and Verify: Complete the setup and verify that RAID 10 is created correctly.
Also, could you please confirm the model of your PERC RAID controller and the firmware version? This information will help ensure compatibility and provide more specific guidance.
Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.
