R740 restarting process stops at Customize System window
After power cycle, the server starts to reboot.
But the restarting process stops at the below place, there is no skip or other way to make the restarting process continue

I was reviewing the screenshots. Could you choose "discard preserved cached"? Hope that will work.

Hello, thanks for choosing Dell and welcome to our community.
Can you press "summary" and tell us what you see one more time?
Wishing all our customers all the best for 2025,

Hello, thanks for your replay and Happy new year!
I got below info in the Summary.
This server has one data disk fault, it is configured as RAID0. Normally, only one disk fault should not impact the whole system. But last time when I did restarting, the restarting process stopped at the window below. I tried to restart the server for maybe 2-3 times, it really showed the restarting process print, but finally enter the window above.
When I press Alt+F2, the login prompt shows up. So I think the system has started up. Do I need to deal with the Configuration window?

Hello I can see the system has been booted. Given that there's no hardware fault, this inquiry should be directed to the OS provider at this point. Sorry I can't be of much help for now.
Respectfully,

Yes, this server has got up.
But I have another server, which got cache disk fault, and is stucked at the same notification.
We have tried restarting the server for many times, and making JO/JI action for the fault cache disk, as well as H740P adapter, and restarting again. But still can not open BIOS configuration interface.
Does DELL have any official solution for such notification? Because it doesn't look like a single case only happens to one server.
Can I try to physically unstall the H740P adapter and see if BISO is available?
Looking forward to your further support, thanks in advance.

Hello,
Yes you could pull the H740P controller and see if you can get into the system BIOS.
When you reinstall the controller it should import the drives automatically or you may need to Import Foreign drives in the H740P BIOS if they don't import automatically.
I do see something in your first post. You said a RAID0 disk failed. A RAID0 will be failed if it loses any disk in the RAID0. There is no redundancy in RAID0. You may need to replace the drive, recreate the RAID0 and restore data from backup if you have one.

Thanks a lot for your replay.
We do have some RAID0 disk fault at present. The cache SSD disk failed in the unstarted up server, despite it is not supposed to impact system starting up. The administrator is ordering spare, but it will take some time.
We are gonna make some attempt by uninstalling the adapter, just in order to make the sytem get up, otherwise the whole upper lever applications is all being impacted.
With new SSD replaced, can the server get up by itself, no looping comes?
Or we will have to adjust some configuration before we can get rid of the looping fault notification?

As Charles mentioned before post you may need to import foreign drives. You can follow this video if you need it https://dell.to/4a7ATUC

Thanks for the vedio, it might be helpful.
But the current issue is we cannot enter BIOS window no matter what we have done.
Importing foreign dirver action needs to be done in the system configre.
So we are worried if we could get stucked even after replacing a new SSD.
May I have an assure reply that the situation will change when we replace a new SSD? Or what other action except clicking F2 should I do before we can import foreign driver.

Hello,
When you get the window that has:
One or more boot drivers require configuration changes. Press any key to load the driver health manager for configurations.
Do press a key such as the letter 'A' and enter.
Check the message and you can post a picture for us to see.
Typically next step is in input a character such as X in the input space. Check if it boots normally.

If I press any button, I get the window below, the Driver Health Manager.
If I click the only option, PERC H740P Adapter, I get the window below.
Then I don't know what to imput or do any other action.

Things have changed after imputing OK and then pressed Enter, but there was no where to select Yes.
Now the status is like below
Then if click H740P Adapter, I get following window
So I am still in the Health Manager.
