PERC H730P Driver Update?

Hello all!

Is there a driver update past 6.600.21.08 for the H730P controller on Windows Server 2012r2?  I found a driver for 2016, but I can't for the life of me find a 2012 driver update.

OMSA is alerting me saying it's out of date with the following details:

Driver Version: 6.600.21.08

Minimum Required: 6.603.01.00

Any info is appreciated!  Thank you!

Twinturbonet,

I am not seeing the update under the controller, and without knowing the platform you have the controller in I can't confirm it there. Would you clarify what model Poweredge you have the H730 installed in?

Also, this may be a case that the driver file was pulled due to some reason, but the catalog file wasn't updated. So let me look into that as well.

Let me know and we can go from there.

@DELL-Chris H   Thanks for your reply!  It's a Dell R830.  I initially downloaded and installed the firmware update for the server thinking it was a package deal, but it was not.

All that did was update the firmware version itself.

It does appear that the 6.603.01.00 update was taken down, but I am not certain as to the reason. Now with you using OMSA the catalog likely won't be updated to reflect that as OMSA is going End of Life.

@DELL-Chris H I guess I'm out of luck then?  Any other options outside of upgrading my OS version?  I know 2012 is old, but the server that it is on can't be upgraded just yet.

It is not right, but may work

Dell driver pack that have drivers in them to deploy the OS will have drivers available

for example https://dell.to/4jPhDjd
dell-lifecycle-controller-os-driver-pack-v17.02.02 | Lifecycle Controller Operating System Driver Pack Version 17.02.02 Reference Guide | poweredge-t330

they are also removed

but if you have idrac9 and confirm what driver pack you have installed then you can mount it and use in OS.

@DELL-Young E Thank you for your reply.  Unfortunately, the server has iDRAC8.
