Memory/Battery problem detected on PERC 4i/D RAID on PE 2600?

Anybody who has PE 2600 plus integrated PERC 4i/D RAID controller enabled - System BIOS A14 and RAID BIOS 1.07 : has come up with a problem that reads " Memory / Battery problem deteced. The adapater has recovered, but the cached data was lost" - when the server powers up ?  Reseated the Battery and 128 MB DIMM on the motherboard - but no luck.  Which memory is this referring to - the 128MB DIMM or the NVRAM on the RAID controller ?

Maxwell05,

They are referring to "data on the fly" that would be in the Cache 128 M/B DRAM. If the server was normally shutdown, the RAID cache is flushed to disk, and no actual data was lost.

This error could be caused by the battery voltage sagging too far, see if the system event logs indicate the ROMB battery volt low (voltage reading here) error message. if not, then perhaps replacing the cache DIMM is indicated.

You can disable the cache to protect your data till you get the replacement parts in.
