HDD change PowerEdge T330 + Windows upgrade
Hi.
I would like to know how to proceed with the HDD change. Now I have 4x 15k SAS 300GB HDDs in RAID 10 and want to change them for 4x 2TB drives also in RAID 10.
I was wondering if it would be ok to change them one by one - I take out one of the drives from the server and I insert the new 2TB drive. Then I wait until it synchonizes and then I continue with next HDD the same way ?
Also, please advise to which Windows version should I upgrade if now I am on Win Server 2012 R2 ?
SN if needed : <Private data removed from public view. DELL-Admin> (only upgraded RAM, now it has 64GB)
Thank you.

Hi,
It's generally recommended to replace all drives at once to ensure a consistent configuration and minimize downtime. Personally, I wouldn't recommend swapping them one by one because it can increase the risk of data loss or corruption if the synchronization process gets interrupted or doesn't complete properly. And always make sure you have a complete and verified backup of your data before starting. For supported OS list you can check here Supported Operating Systems | Dell US
And I'm put the link of RAID capacity expansion PowerEdge: How to Reconfigure a Virtual Disk or Add More Hard Drives | Dell US
Hope that helps!
