HBA330 installation on R440

Hello,

I would need to add a HBA330 into a R440 to connect 4x LFF SAS drives. Could you please advise what are the parts needed?

The Dell Host Bus Adapter User’s Guide HBA330 and External 12 Gbps SAS HBA mentions there are several versions of the HBA330, which of these are compatible with the R440?

1. HBA330 (0J7TNV)
   • In which PCIe slot would this be installed? The front front/internal slot?
   • Which is the correct riser to be used? 0VG0Y?
   • Which is the correct SAS cable? 8YMGD?
2. HBA330MX (030J98) 
   • Can the HBA330MX be used in the R440?
   • If so, in which slot of the motherboard would this be installed?
   • What SAS cable would be needed with the HBA330MX?
3. HBA330 mini monolithic (P2R3R)
   • Can the HBA330 mini monolithic be used in he R440?
   • If so, in which slot of the motherboard would this be installed?
   • What SAS cable would be needed with the HBA330 mini monolithic and where would this be connected?

Could you please also confirm:

1. Which are the correct riser for the back PCIe slots
   • RHWXM for the right slot?
   • MC2DD for the left slot?
2. If LFF caddies 12 gen (e.g. R420) are compatible with the R440?
