Foreign configuration on replacement drive
I have a raid 1 array and one drive failed and VD is in degraded state .
And while replacing the drive the replaced drive come in foreign state and importing foreign configuration is not removing the drive from foreign state in that case can we perform clear foreign config option or is there any way to bring that drive back online.
DARIVE reseat has already been performed .

It sounds like that your replacement drive is a used one which contains an existing PERC Raid config and this will be a reason why the PERC HBA shows a foreign config. If this is true than you need to clear the foreing config state before you can reuse the disk.
I assume that you should mark it as a (global)Hotspare and assing it to the exsting raid group after all config is removed.
If you dont have a fresh backup of your data its now the time to create one.

wait do not procced for any replacement, do you have any picture for the Raid utility of the drive status.
do you want to follow a action plan let me know it usually happens many times when you buy a refurb drive.
