Disable SCSI SubSystem OpenManage 5.0
I am installing an Adaptec 39160 SCSI Host adapter on a PE4600 W2k. The installation readme says that if you are using OpenManage version 3.2 or higher (I am using 5.0) under W2k then you have to disable the SCSI Subsystem Provider in the Array Manager Utilities (or BSOD could occur).
My embedded Perc 3/Di controller doesn't have the correct firmware for Open Manage Storage Management 5.0. It is using 2.7 and it needs 2.8. However the drivers are up to date.
1- How do you disable the SCSI Subsystem ?
2- Can I disable it before upgrading the firmware for my Perc 3/Di?
