dell r410 raid 5
I have a SAS 6/ir in the one I have and it only supports 0,1. I need to know what controller and any extra parts needed to get the raid 5 working in the r410. Also what needs to be disabled for the controller that's in the r410 for the new to work.
So, do I need the H700 Card to get this to work? I would like to get the Dell part numbers also. The manual I have for the r410 says it supports raid 5. Please let me know. I have SAS drives. This is also posted in enterprise, which I did not see this forum to start with.

You need a Perc 6i or H700 for that kind of RAID level.
Cant help you with SKU/Partnumbers. Also if cables or propper backplane is needed.
